歷代最強！福特《Ford》宣佈下周將發表新一代《Focus RS》誕生紀錄片

正式超越上一代 RS500性能表現，被譽為歷代最強的全新《Focus RS》，為了讓全球車迷都能深入了解誕生背後的故事，Ford集團副總裁兼全球產品研發首席執行官Raj Nair宣佈，將在下周發表一系列的紀錄片，內容揭示了Focus RS從開發到測試的種種歷程，一共分成8集，而第1集將會於9月30日在「Ford Performance」的Youtube官方頻道上線。

這部名為「Rebirth of an Icon」的系列紀錄片，通過紀實拍攝的方式，詳細紀錄新一代Focus RS在每個階段的發展，包括前進北極與美國亞歷桑納州進行嚴寒和高溫環境的極地測試、歷經全球Ford Performance工程師調校的成果，也將極限運動車手Ken Block擔任RS測試顧問期間所作的精彩演出，以及Focus RS幕後推手全球產品研發首席執行官Raj Nair的訪問一併收錄在內。

在預告影片的同時，Raj Nair也表示：「Focus RS是一部獨特的性能車款，擁有讓人超乎想像的潛力，也因為背負著高度期望與巨大壓力，更迫使我們的團隊用堅定的決心專注在開發上，造就了現在的Focus。而透過探訪各個領域的紀錄片，也讓我們看見一路走來所得來不易的成果。」

Rebirth of an Icon一系列紀錄片章節如下：

第1集: Project kickoff – Block and Nair debate what the car should deliver from behind the wheel of an early prototype.

第2集 : Design and development – Crunching crashes put the new design to the toughest of tests.

第3集: Hitting the road – A 1,600-kilometre (1,000-mile) drive through epic terrain takes prototypes from high in the Rocky Mountains to the Arizona desert.

第4集: Test-track trials – Block heads for Ford’s top-secret test facility and indulges in some “hooning”

第5集: Arctic extremes – Winter testing in Sweden shows the team is under pressure to improve performance.

第6集: Power struggle – It’s all about performance as the Ford manufacturing plant in Saarlouis, Germany, gears up for production

第7集: Close scrutiny – The day of the critical signoff drive follows Block’s headline appearance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

第8集: Final chapter – It’s time for the nail-biting management review.
