自2011年起贊助Red Bull Racing車隊，並在2013年賽季成為冠名贊助商的《Infiniti》，與Red Bull Racing車隊的合作關係將在2015年賽季結束後畫下句點。自2016年賽季開始，Red Bull Racing雖然繼續使用Renault的動力系統，但由於Renault以廠隊的姿態回到F1賽場，在Renault的同意下Red Bull Racing車隊將以TAG Heuer的名義使用Renault的動力系統，而Renault以及Renault-Nissan聯盟旗下的各品牌，則不再出現於Red Bull Racing車隊的識別系統中。

隨著Red Bull Racing車隊的表現日益出色，自2007年起成為Red Bull Racing車隊合作夥伴的Renault，於2010年賽季結束出售車隊與Lotus之後，Renault-Nissan聯盟旗下的Infiniti品牌便開始投入資金贊助Red Bull Racing車隊，並在兩年後加碼成為Red Bull Racing車隊的冠名贊助商，車隊名稱也改為Infiniti Red Bull Racing，Infiniti的廠徽也改放置在車隊識別系統中最醒目的位置。

雖然當時簽訂4年的合作計畫，不過，隨著2015年Renault動力系統表現疲軟，Red Bull Racing揚言在2015年賽季結束後更換動力系統供應商的消息傳出後，Red Bull Racing與Infiniti之間的合作也走入僵局。雖然最後Red Bull Racing車隊在2016年賽季仍將繼續使用Renault所提供的動力系統，但與Renault-Nissan聯盟的合作，在Renault決定以廠隊的身分再次回到F1之後，也在2015年年底畫下句點。

2016年起，Red Bull Racing車隊將以瑞士鐘錶商TAG Heuer的名義，使用Ranult提供的動力系統，而2016年的賽車全名也將命名為Red Bull Racing-TAG Heuer RB12。包括Renualt的字樣、Renault的菱形廠徽，以及Infiniti的品牌識別系統，未來將不會出現在Red Bull Racing的識別系統之中。收回對於Red Bull Racing車隊的贊助後，Renualt-Nissan集團便可將更多的資源投入Renault廠隊之中，只是對於Infiniti而言，少了F1的話題，對於品牌經營將受到些許的影響。
